UPCOMING TRAINING DATE: We will be delivering our workshop 'Understanding Male Eating Disorders' on Fri 3rd Sept (1-4pm) in central Oxford. This is for any professionals wanting to gain a better understanding of male eating disorders. It will be delivered by Sam Thomas (MGEDT Founder/Project Leader). ‘Men Get Eating Disorders Too’ is able to deliver training to a wide range of professionals to inform and raise awareness of male eating disorders.
Training can be delivered ‘in house’ in and around the South-East. However, we are willing to consider travelling elsewhere in the UK. Sessions are normally one to three hours and delivered by one or two experienced trainers.
We are also willing (and keen) to deliver talks and presentations upon request.
Workshop
‘Understanding Male Eating Disorders’: This awareness raising workshop is aimed at professionals in the health and social care field who would like to know more about male eating disorders. The aim of the workshop is to increase participants understanding of this issue, so that they can be better effective at supporting men who present symptoms of disordered eating.

You will have plenty of opportunities to discuss and ask questions throughout the workshop. It will both be informative and experiential so you will go away feeling much more knowledgeable about the issue of male eating disorders.
Costs
Costs for in house training starts at £50 per hour for non statutory organisations and £75 for statutory organisations, although this is negotiable.
